38cm x 27cm
This is a Niaz Hannan inspired painting working on simple structures and loose impressionistic trees in the distance. The foreground is burnt and largely featureless adding to the post-rain mood. It’s not an elegant painting, but it reflected exactly what I wanted it to at the time. I love the hard contrast of the darkest tree against the sky. It really pulls my eye to the back of the painting and makes me look at where the road might be leading.
